Nova88 BKK takes responsible gaming seriously. If you ever feel that gambling has begun to affect your life or the life of someone you care about, please reach out to our support team right away. We are here to help, not to judge.
1Nova88 BKK's Commitment to Responsible Gambling
For nova88 bkk, responsible gaming is more than just a licensing requirement or a formality. It is a core value that shapes every decision we make as an online betting platform serving players in Malaysia.
We understand that not everyone who chooses to play on our platform is in the same position. Some come for occasional entertainment after a long day — perhaps after catching a Malaysia Super League or EPL match. Others play more regularly. Either way, our role is to make sure all types of players have the information and tools they need to stay in control.
Nova88 BKK is committed to:
- Ensuring our platform remains inaccessible to individuals under 18 years of age.
- Providing self-control tools that are easy for all users to access.
- Training our support team to identify and assist players who may be experiencing gambling-related problems.
- Not targeting players who have chosen to self-exclude with any promotions or marketing materials.
- Providing clear and easy-to-understand information about the risks of gambling.
Playing responsibly is the core goal of nova88 bkk
The trust of Malaysian players is our most valuable asset. We know that trust can only be maintained by showing that we genuinely care about your well-being – not just our bottom line.
2What Is Responsible Gambling?
Responsible gaming means participating in betting activities – whether slots, baccarat, poker, Sports Betting, or any other game on nova88 bkk – in a controlled, mindful manner and within your own means.
Healthy Betting
- Only gamble with money you can afford to lose
- Setting time and money limits before you start
- Treating gambling as entertainment, not a source of income
- Stop when your set limit is reached
- Not chasing losses
- Balance gaming time with other activities
Signs of Problem Gambling
- Do not bet with money set aside for essential expenses
- Unable to stop even when you want to
- Lying to family about betting habits
- Borrowing money to continue betting
- Neglecting responsibilities due to betting
- Feeling restless or on edge when not playing
It is important to remember that in any game on the platform nova88 bkk — from jackpot slots to live Sports Betting — the house always holds a mathematical advantage (house edge). No strategy or system can consistently guarantee long-term winnings. Betting should be enjoyed like any other form of entertainment — with a budget set in advance.
3Early Warning Signs to Watch Out For
Recognise the warning signs before problems become serious
Problem gambling rarely appears overnight. It typically develops gradually over time. Recognising the early warning signs is the most important step in ensuring that betting remains a form of entertainment and does not become a bigger problem.
Watch out for these signs in yourself or someone you care about:
- Finances: Using savings, daily spending money, or funds set aside for household bills to bet on nova88 bkk or any other platform.
- Time: Spending more time gambling than planned, or continuing to play late into the night.
- Emotions: Feeling stressed, anxious, or irritable when not playing, or after experiencing losses.
- Relationships: Conflicts with a partner, family members, or friends due to betting habits or related financial issues.
- Disclaimer: Minimising or hiding how much you bet when asked by people close to you.
- Chasing losses: Continuing to place bets to "win back" money already lost — this is one of the clearest signs of problem gambling.
4Self-Assessment – Are You Gambling Responsibly?
Answer the following questions honestly. This is not a pass-or-fail test – it is a tool to help you better understand your relationship with responsible gaming.
1. Have you ever gambled with money meant for essentials such as rent, bills, or food?
2. Have you ever tried to stop or cut back on gambling but found yourself unable to do so?
3. Have you ever borrowed money from family, friends, or a financial institution solely to place bets?
4. Have you ever hidden your gambling habits from your partner, parents, or friends?
5. Has gambling made you feel stressed, guilty, or anxious?
5Nova88 BKK Self-Control Tools
Nova88 BKK provides a range of self-control tools accessible directly through your account settings. All of these tools are designed to give you full control over your gaming experience on our platform.
Set daily (e.g. RM200/day), weekly (RM500/week), or monthly (RM1,500/month) deposit limits. Limit reductions take effect immediately. Increases are subject to a 24-hour waiting period to ensure decisions are made with a clear head.
Set a maximum amount you are willing to lose within a given period. Once this limit is reached, you will be unable to continue betting until that period automatically resets.
Limit how long you can play in a single session. Nova88 BKK will send you an alert as your limit approaches and will automatically end the session once it is reached.
Choose to freeze your nova88 bkk account for 24 hours, 72 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this period, you will not be able to log in or place any bets. Contact customer support to activate this feature.
For those who feel they need a longer or permanent break, the self-exclusion feature allows you to close access to your account for a minimum period of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanently. During this period, nova88 bkk will not send you any promotions or marketing communications.
You can access your full betting and transaction history in your nova88 bkk account at any time. Reviewing this history regularly can help you monitor your gambling habits more objectively.
To activate any of the self-control tools above, log in to your nova88 bkk account and navigate to "Account Settings > Responsible Gaming", or contact our support team via live chat.

7Advice for Family & Loved Ones
Sometimes, those closest to us will not admit on their own that they have a gambling problem. If you feel someone you care about may be experiencing issues related to responsible gaming, here are some guidelines that may help:
How to Communicate
- Choose a calm moment to have the conversation, not during an argument
- Use "I feel…" statements instead of direct accusations
- Listen patiently without judgment
- Focus on the behaviour, not their personal character
How to Help
- Offer to accompany them in seeking professional help
- Help with financial management in the short term if needed
- Encourage social activities and hobbies outside of betting
- Take care of your own mental health while supporting them
Remember that you cannot force someone to seek help before they are ready. What matters most is making sure they know that support is available and that you are there for them.
